trochanteric fossa การใช้

ประโยคมือถือ
  • In these taxa, the trochanteric fossa is the insertion point for the puboischiofemoralis externus muscle.
  • The fibers converge and pass posterolateral and upward, and end in a tendon which runs across the back of the neck of the femur and lower part of the capsule of the hip joint and is inserted into the trochanteric fossa of the femur.
  • In reptiliomorphs such as Seymouria or Diadectes and basal reptiles such as Pareiasaurus, the trochanteric fossa ( also known as the "'intertrochanteric fossa "') is a very large depression on the ventral / posterior side of the femur.
  • These bands leave the pelvis through the lesser sciatic foramen and unite into a single flattened tendon, which passes horizontally across the capsule of the hip-joint, and, after receiving the attachments of the superior and inferior gemellus muscles, is inserted into the forepart of the medial surface of the greater trochanter above the trochanteric fossa.
  • The " medial surface ", of much less extent than the lateral, presents at its base a deep depression, the trochanteric fossa ( digital fossa ), for the insertion of the tendon of the obturator externus, and above and in front of this an impression for the insertion of the obturator internus and superior and inferior gemellus muscles.
